- Microprocessor Control with RS232 Standard
- Remote Module Activation and Programming
- Up to 17 separate sampling periods
- Samples can be segregated by wind speed or direction (Sector Sampling)
- Meets PAMS sampling requirements of eight (3) hour sampling periods totaling 24 hours, into eight individual canisters
- User selectable flow rates with mass flow control option
- Optional serial printer
- Quality assurance checks
The AVOCS is designed for a wide variety of field sampling applications,
including EPA Ambient Air Toxic Protocols TO-12 and TO-14. The sampler
is portable, durable and reliable, with significant ease of operation via
microprocessor control. An optional meteorological sensory unit interface
accepts wind speed and directional signals from individual sensors or a
meteorological tower. A time/event multiple canister option makes multiple
collection periods possible. The AVOCS can be remotely programmed by modem
through the RS232 port.
